The Role
We are hiring a Senior Business Development Officer to drive revenue in a defined market in Mexico. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for a strong individual contributor who can build pipeline, work deals, and close business. You will also play an important role in a lean, startup environment working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to help improve how we win. Your primary focus is simple: build pipeline, close deals, and hit your number

What You’ll Do
- Build pipeline through outbound efforts, referrals, and your network
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact to close
- Work deals actively—follow up, push, and close
- Prioritize high-probability opportunities and manage pipeline effectively
- Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Success to support deal success
- Share feedback on:
- messaging
- objections
- what’s working in-market
- Help raise the level of the team through strong execution and insight
- Maintain strong CRM discipline and accurate forecasting

- Startup experience required (early-stage or high-growth)
- 5+ years in fintech, banking, or financial services
- Proven closer with a track record of hitting revenue targets
- Experience building pipeline from scratch
- Strong outbound and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable operating with high ownership and limited structure
- Collaborative mindset—you work well across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Strong execution and follow-through
- Fluent in English
- Direct ownership of revenue in a key market
