About Galgo
Galgo is the leading motorcycle fintech platform in Latin America. Our mission is to unlock access to mobility and motorcycle ownership for people who need it most. Our core products are Galgo.com, a motorcycle marketplace with embedded finance, and Galgo Crédito, a dealer-origination financing product. We are building the most comprehensive and accessible way to purchase a motorbike, and the AI-enabled operating system for our extensive network of dealership partners.
We've raised $80M+ in equity and $250M+ in debt, we're profitable, and we're growing at 60% year over year. We operate fast, we think structurally, and we hold ourselves to a high bar. If you want to build something that matters — and you want to do it rigorously — this is your place.
The role
The PM owns a specific digital product and its business outcome. This is not a feature shipping role — your job is to drive measurable business results by evolving a digital product and re-engineering the processes behind it to enable leapfrog improvements. You operate with high autonomy within a contained business scope, partner closely with one or two developers, manage senior stakeholders, connect with customers to understand their needs and opportunities, and run continuous experiments to improve performance.
Examples of what PMs own at Galgo: GalgoPay driving conversion, and SellerApp driving store penetration.
What you will do
- Own the end-to-end business outcome for your specific product scope — not just feature delivery.
- Envision the product roadmap alongside the business process and operational definitions needed to hit your targets.
- Co-develop the digital product with one or two engineers — from roadmap prioritization to shipping quick experiments using AI-native tools.
- Apply zero-based process engineering to rethink how things work from scratch and unlock step-change solutions, not just incremental improvements.
- Manage senior stakeholders to crystallize business definitions and drive alignment across your portfolio.
- Go directly to customers to gather their perspectives, surface unmet needs, and identify new opportunities — fast.
- Analyze product data constantly to identify improvements and validate decisions.
How we operate
We run a Spotify-style pod system. Each Product Manager owns a contained business slice within our product portfolio. You don't manage engineers — you partner with them. You will use AI-native tools, including Claude, to ship quick prototypes and validate ideas while your developers focus on scaling tested solutions into production. We ship daily and plan quarterly.
Your manager gives you real autonomy — but holds you accountable for the business outcome, not just the roadmap.
What we are looking for
We need a sharp problem solver who can own a business outcome end-to-end, not just manage a backlog. You should be structured and relentlessly results-oriented. Specific engineering background is not required — comfort with AI tooling and digital product thinking is essential.
- Problem solving & analytical thinking. Conducts sophisticated analysis, infers non-obvious conclusions, and tests them rigorously. Uses data to challenge assumptions, not just confirm them.
- Structural thinking. Breaks messy problems into smaller pieces to identify the key levers. Doesn't get lost in complexity — finds the 2-3 things that actually move the needle.
- Grit. Stays oriented toward the end state even when things get chaotic. Iterates on approach without losing sight of the outcome. Doesn't flinch when it gets hard.
- Team leadership & stakeholder influence. Manages senior stakeholders laterally. Translates needs into shared business definitions. Influences people quickly to shift alignment — without formal authority.
- Ambitious goal setting & zero-based engineering. Comfortable with bold targets and doesn't retreat to safe incrementalism. Questions existing processes and designs solutions from scratch when needed.
- Bias for iteration & learning. Prefers short feedback cycles. Ships quick experiments. Learns from data without waiting for the perfect plan.
Experience
- 3–4 years of experience after college, ideally in product, strategy, consulting, or operations
- Demonstrated experience managing a product or initiative with measurable business outcomes.
- Comfortable with data analysis and drawing actionable conclusions from it.
- Experience in fintech, marketplace, or high-growth tech is a plus.
- Top-tier management consulting background (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) is a plus.
- Based in Mexico City, Medellín, or São Paulo.
